Following energy cooperation between Iran and Armenia a contract related to the construction of the third phase of electricity transfer project in exchange for gas was signed between the two countries, Iran's Ambassador to Armenia Kazem Sajjadi said.
Sajjadi added that the capacity for this project is to be considerably increased.
He said that a joint venture Radiotherapy Center was opened in one of public hospitals in the presence of Armenian president.
Armenia by around 30,000 kilometers area and with a population of 3 million is located in Caucasus Region and in the year 1991 it became independent from the Soviet Union.
