General Soleimani congratulates end of Daesh terrorists

Announcing the end of dominance of the corrupt tree of Daesh, the commander of IRGC Quds Force wrote that the Supreme Leader’s wise leadership, resistance of the Iraqi and Syrian people, governments, and armies, as well as volunteer forces, militants and martyrs from other countries were the factors behind the triumph of the Resistance Front.

Following the Iraqi and Syrian Resistance Front’s historic triumph over the Takfiri terrorist's plot of the corrupt tree of Daesh and the end to the dominance of the Daesh that was finalized by lowering the US-Zionist group’s flag in Abu Kamal, located near the Iraqi border in eastern Syria, Commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Qasem Soleimani published an important message addressing Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, read an IRGC statement.

In the Name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful

Surely, We have given thee a manifest victory (Holy Quran, 48: 1)

To the cherished, prudent, and courageous Leader of the Islamic Revolution

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

As-salaamu alaykum

Six years ago, a calamity, like those seen during Imam Ali’s (AS) era, fell that deprived Muslims of enjoying the bliss of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) pure Islam, [but] this time, heavily contaminated with the poison of Zionism and Arrogance, it battered the Muslim World like a devastating hurricane.

The perilous and toxic disaster was created by the enemies of Islam with the aim of igniting a huge fire in the Islamic World and turning Muslim against each other. The diabolical move, named ‘the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant’, managed to create a crisis in Iraq and Syria in early months by beguiling tens of thousands of the youth of the two influential Muslim countries, and managed to occupy hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of Iraqi and Syrian lands, including thousands of villages, towns and provincial centers. They destroyed thousands of workshops, factories, major infrastructures, such as roads, bridges, refineries, wells, gas and oil pipelines, power plants and the like; they burned or exploded bombs in several cities with their numerous invaluable historical heritage sites.

Although the actual damage is incalculable, the preliminary estimates point at $500 bn.

Innumerable heinous undisplayable crimes were committed during the event, including, decapitating children or skinning men in front of their families, captivating innocent girls and women and raping them, burning people alive, and mass beheadings.

Shocked at the poisonous storm, a section of the Muslim nations of the countries were trapped in the abyss of the sharp daggers of the Takfiri terrorists, and millions of others had to leave their homes and seek refuge in other cities and countries.

In the dark sedition, thousands of mosques and other Muslim sacred places were ravaged or ruined, and some mosques were exploded with the imams and the prayers inside.

More than 6,000 beguiled young people carried out suicide attacks, in the name of Islam, driving cars loaded with explosives and blowing themselves up in the squares, mosques, schools, and even hospitals and Muslim’s public places; as a result of which, tens of thousands of innocent men, women, and children were martyred.

According to confessions made by the highest US authority, the incumbent president, all the crimes were schemed and conducted by the US leaders and the US-affiliated organizations. This [plot] is still being schemed and carried out by the incumbent US authorities.

Apart from Allah’s blessing and special attention of Prophet Mohammad and his Ahl al-Bayt’s (honorable household) (PBUT), the factor that resulted in the defeat of the dark perilous plot was the wise scholarly leadership of His Excellency Ayatollah Ali Sistani who mobilized all the equipment to counter the toxic storm [of Daesh].

Certainly, the resilience of the Iraqi and Syrian governments, armies, youths, especially the holy Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), and youths from other countries, alongside the authoritative and pivotal presence of Hezbollah, led by honorable Hassan Nasrallah, have had a decisive role in driving the perilous incident to the abyss of defeat.

The role of Iranian people, government, especially President Hassan Rouhani, the Majlis (Parliament), the Ministry of Defense, and the security and military organizations in support of the aforementioned countries is, indeed, highly praiseworthy.

With the liberation of Abu-Kamal having been completed, the US-Zionist Daesh’s flag having been lowered and Syrian flag having been raised, as Your Excellency’s assigned soldier in the battlefield, this humble person announces the termination of the dominance of the corrupt cursed tree.

On behalf of all the anonymous commanders and fighters of the battlefield, thousands of Iranian, Syrian, Lebanese, Afghan, and Pakistani martyrs and war disabled defenders of holy shrines who sacrificed their lives to guard other Muslims’ families and their sanctities, I would like to congratulate the resounding and decisive victory to Your Excellency, great people of Iran, oppressed people of Iraq and Syria, and other Muslims all over the world and prostrate myself before Omnipotent Allah in gratitude of the huge victory.

And victory comes only from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise (Holy Quran, 3:126)
