After attacking through Altim Oil field and Panorama areas, Syrian army and the allied forces took over south of Deir ez-Zor, the battle field sources said.
During the operation, a number of Takfiri terrorists were killed and injured.
US air craft have earlier attacked the area on September 17, 2016.
During US strike, 62 Syrian armed forces were killed and scores were injured and Daesh dominated the area.

Damascus, Sep 11, IRNA – Syrian Army and resistance forces maintained security of Deir ez-Zor [military] airport on Sunday by gaining control of the Al-Sardeh Mountain which plays the role of a key defense line for southern parts of the airport.
