Tehran, Dec 25, IRNA – Iran Power and Water Equipment and Services Export Company (SUNIR) and Chinese National Technical Import and Export Corporation (CNTIC) signed contracts to cooperate on power and water equipment and services.

Managing Director of China National Technical Import and Export Corporation (CNTIC) Zhang Yu In said that CNTIC is keen on cooperation with Iran Power and Water Equipment and Services Export Company (SUNIR) in the fields of banking, energy and supplying equipment.

In a meeting with Managing Director of Sunir Bahman Salehi on Sunday, Zhang Yu In said that his company is to open a bureau in Tehran to be able to work with big companies like Sunir.

He said that CNTIC has implemented projects in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Iran, Russia and several African states.

Zhang Yu In also expressed readiness for banking cooperation to support projects and investments.

Salehi said Sunir has capacities for different projects and is ready for cooperation with international companies.

He added that Sunir is ready for cooperation and investment in projects in Commonwealth Independence States (CIS).

Salehi said that Sunir is implementing 18 projects in 13 countries and signed agreement to build a wind power plant in Kazakhstan with 60 megawatt capacity.
