While the high-ranking Italian delegation visits Iran, Iranian Artists Forum will host the session, hold an exhibition and screen a film on the life and works of Pietro Della Valle.
The program has been arranged by the Italian Embassy and Italian school of Pietro Della Valle in Tehran.
Italian traveler Pietro Della Valle set to visit several countries in the east including Iran about four hundred years ago. He arrived in Iran at the time of Shah Abbas Safavi around 1618. His notes on his journeys to the east have great reputation among Iranologists.

Tehran, April 13, IRNA – A joint session of Cultural and Artistic commonalities between Iran and Italy focusing on the life and works of Pietro Della Valle will be held at Iran’s Artists Forum on Thursday April 14.
