Following removal of sanctions, improvement of Iran's international relations, and growth in number of tourists visiting Iran, the Alitalia airliner has decided to re-launch daily direct flights to Tehran.
In a statement, the firm said the flights will be resumed on daily basis on March 27.
It said growth in number of flights is due to more commitments to improve commercial relations between the two countries and provide better support for activity of Italian entrepreneurs and tourism in Iran.
