Adibi is the first Iranian Sunni Kurd to be appointed to an ambassarodial post.
He holds PhD in Persian language and literature from Tehran University. He is member of the board of instructors and Chancellor of Kurdestan branch of Islamic Azad University and Head of the Foundation of Elite in Kurdistan Province.

Tehran, Sept 16, IRNA – Saleh Adibi has been appointed as Iran's extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Hanoi on the proposal of Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and approval of President Hassan Rouhani.
