Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA – Senior member of Iran’s nuclear negotiating team Abbas Araqchi said a trilateral meeting between representatives of Iran, USA, and EU might happen in Geneva, Switzerland, on Thursday.

Deputy Foreign Minister in Legal and International Affairs Araqchi told IRNA on Wednesday evening that Ms. Wendy Sherman, representative of the USA in Geneva nuclear talks on her way to Moscow, will have a stopover in Geneva on Thursday and there might be a trilateral meeting with Ms. Helga Schmidt.

Araqchi and Helga Schmidt, deputy of EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, are to discuss a couple of remaining issues about Geneva agreement, including date of implementing the program.

Iran and Group 5+1 finally reached a primary agreement on November 24, 2013 on nuclear program after years of negotiation, upon which the two sides should take balanced steps toward confidence building during a periof of six months.

Now, the two sides are negotiating on a time table to implement the agreement.
