Tehran, IRNA - Iran produced 28 million metric tons (mt) of crude steel from January to November 2024 to maintain its position as the 10th largest steel supplier in the world, according to figures by the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
Tehran, IRNA – The World Steel Association announced in its latest report that Iran's monthly production of raw steel in May 2024 increased by 2.1 percent compared to the same month in 2023, reaching 3.3 million metric tons, so Iran secured the seventh position among producers of crude steel in the world.
