Celebration of Uramanat registration as UNESCO World Heritage
The Uramanat (or Hawraman) Cultural Landscape was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as the 26th tangible cultural heritage of Iran at the 44th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 27 July 2021. Natural beauties of Uraman in western Iran on list of world heritage sites
Uraman gives tourists whatever beauty they are looking for in nature: intact nature and historical attractions. UNESCO added Iran’s Uramanat cultural landscape to its list of world heritage sites on July 27, 2021. The area has 700 villages, 1,100 historical sites. UNESCO enlists Iran’s Uramanat on World Heritage List
