South Pars Phase 11 inauguration ended 22-year procrastination: MP

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Member of Parliament Alireza Abbasi has hailed the recent inauguration of Phase 11 of the South Pars Gas Field in the Persian Gulf, saying that the move put an end to 22-year “procrastination” by foreign contractors.

Tehran, IRNA – Managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) emphasized that starting of production of South Pars Phase 11 is among NIOC’s priorities, and said that by replacing a Phase 12 platform and in order to accelerate Phase 11’s production, that phase’s production will start in September 2022.
