Veterans of Iran’s war with Iraq remembered

Hur-ul-Azim super wetland
Hur-ul-Azim super wetland is one of the largest of its kind in Iran which is located in the southwestern province of Khuzestan near the border with Iraq. It covers an area of 120,000 hectares and is considered a rich source of plant and animal species, including one of the world’s most rare otters. Water flows into the wetland from Karkheh River in Iran and Tigris in Iraq.
