Artifacts unveiled in museum in western Iran
Some 11 artifacts dating back to Sassanid era from 224 to 651 AD and Achaemenid dynasty in 550 BC are unveiled in Hegmataneh museum in Hamedan province, western Iran, on August 24, 2023. The artifacts which had been found in some archeological sites in the province are kept in National Museum of Iran but delivered to Hamedan for temporary display for five days. Cultural Heritage and Tourism Base of Hegmataneh in Iran's Hamedan Province is one step closer to being World Heritage. Hegmataneh was once one of the world’s greatest cities of ancient times.
