    The Hezar-Daf (Thousand-Daf) ceremony was held on April 19, 2024, in the historical village of Palangan. This village is located in Kurdistan province, western Iran. The event was attended by a large number of people, including officials and daf players from across the country. During this religious and mystic ritual, daf players stand on the roofs of terraced houses in Palangan and play the daf, a traditional musical instrument, while singing religious songs. Palangan is renowned for its unique terraced structure and stunning natural beauty. It stands as one of the prominent tourist attractions in the town of Kamyaran.
