A funeral ceremony was held for former Iranian basketball chief Mahmoud Mashhoun on December 13, 2023 at the Basketball Hall of Azadi Sport Complex in Tehran. Mashhoun was president of the Islamic Republic of Iran Basketball Federation from 2002 to 2017.
