Tehran, IRNA - Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto travelled to Tehran earlier this week and met his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian as well as President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi. Pekka is the first European foreign minister to visit Tehran since the incumbent Iranian government took office in August. He hoped that relations between Iran and the European Union would further develop.
