Liberation of Khorramshahr in 1982

IRNA photographers captured the final hours of the Khorramshahr liberation operation, in which Iran reclaimed the port city from Iraqi on May 24, 1982, during the Iran-Iraq War. Iraqi had seized the city early in the war on October 28, 1980.
