The heavy snowfall that started 2 days ago in Alborz province has flattened the heights around the city and turned white the northern parts of the province. In this regard, the Karaj to Chalus axis has been blocked until further notice due to the possibility of an avalanche.Half of the 160 km Karaj-Chalous road is located in Alborz province and the other half in Mazandaran province. According to the weather forecast, snowfall will continue in Alborz for the next three days.
