A caravan symbolizing that of Imam Hossein has moved through the streets of Noushabad, a town 7km away from the city of Kashan, central Iran. The symbolic move was part of mourning ceremonies marking Tasu’a, the ninth day on Muharram lunar calendar month and a day before Ashura when Imam Hossein and 72 companions were martyred during the battle of Karbala 14 centuries ago.
