Chai Chorak Bread

Tea bread or “Chai Chorak”, as it is called in the local language, is a type of bread specific to Zanjan city. Chai Chorak is made from flour, water, milk, sugar, eggs, liquid vegetable oil, and sesame in small sizes. It is usually prepared during Ramadan in Zanjan’s confectioneries and offered to fasting people. This bread has a special place on the Iftar table of the Zanjani people. Tehran, Iran. April 11, 2023.
