Iran's Cultural Center opens in Tunis
Algiers, March 17, IRNA -- Iranian Cultural Center opened in Tunisia's
capital of Tunis on Friday in the presence of Iranian Ambassador to
that country and a Tunisian Foreign Ministry official.
Iran's Cultural Center in Tunis will mainly center on
implementation of cooperation agreements and further strengthening
of bilateral relations.
The inaugural ceremony of the center was attended by Tunisian
Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and Asian Affairs, Habib al-Kabaji,
the ambassadors of Islamic states to Tunis, the cultural attaches of
foreign countries in the country and a number of scientific and
cultural personalities of Tunisia.
Speaking on the sidelines of the ceremony, Iranian Ambassador to
Tunis Mohammad-Taqi Moayyed, said that Iran's Cultural Center in
Tunisia will facilitate cultural and civilizational exchanges between
the two countries and provide the opportunity for closer relations
between the two nations.
