Israeli attacks on southern Gaza have killed at least nine Palestinians, including women and children.
In the early hours of Monday, Israeli forces attacked a house in Jurat al-Lot in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing at least six people and injuring at least ten others, Al Jazeera Arabic reported on Monday morning.
The outlet said another Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, killed two Palestinians and injured several others. A separate attack on a house in Khan Younis killed one person and injured others.
According to reports, Israeli bombardment is ongoing in Khan Younis.
Palestinian officials said earlier that Israeli airstrikes had killed at least 64 people, including children, in Gaza on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
The Israeli regime’s genocidal war in Gaza, launched in October 2023 after a retaliatory operation against the regime led by Hamas, has so far killed about 17,500 children.
