Tehran, IRNA – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has led Eid al-Fitr prayers in the capital, Tehran.
The prayers in the capital were held at the Grand Mosalla Mosque on Monday morning.
Eid al-Fitr, one of the most important religious holidays celebrated by Muslims around the world, marks the conclusion of 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, Iranians elsewhere in the nation are marking the occasion by holding prayers.
