President Pezeshkian urges solving problems rather than changing people
President Pezeshkian addresses a gathering of knowledge-based elites in Tehran on March 6, 2025.,

Pezeshkian says that every problem has a solution, emphasizing the lack of motivated, skilled experts as the primary obstacle.

Tehran, IRNA—President Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of addressing the country’s problems rather than attempting to change its people.

His remarks were an apparent reference to the recent impeachment of Economy Minister Abdolnasser Hemmati, who was dismissed by a majority vote in Parliament.

Addressing a gathering of knowledge-based elites in Tehran on Thursday, the president said, “The issue is not a lack of solutions, as we can derive hundreds of solutions from global experiences.”

There is no problem for which there is no solution, Pezeshkian said, adding that the main issue lies in the absence of skilled and knowledgeable individuals who have the motivation to help solve the problems.

The president also criticized the country’s administrative and management system, describing it as "frozen", underlining the need for changing the management system which he believed has limited the involvement of managers and experts in resolving the challenges.
