New consul general in Iraq’s Erbil meets with Iran's FM

Tehran, IRNA - The new Iranian consul general in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, has met with the Iranian foreign minister.

Faramarz Assadi met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran on Wednesday before departing for his mission.

During this meeting, Assadi presented a report outlining his plans for his upcoming position in Erbil, where he will replace Nasrollah Rashnoudi.
