The organization made the announcement on Wednesday hours after Haniyeh was assassinated in an Israeli raid on his residence in Tehran.
According to the announcement, the procession will kick off on Thursday morning at the Tehran University in downtown, with mourners marching towards the iconic Azadi Square in the west of the capital city.
Supreme Leader will perform prayers
The office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei also made an announcement. It said that Ayatollah Khamenei will perform prayers over the body of Martyr Haniyeh.
The office said that the prayers will be held at the Tehran University before the march starts towards Azadi Square.
Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the inauguration of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
