Enayati wrote on his official X account on Tuesday that he and the Saudi official had detailed discussions.
The ambassador said that he told the Saudi official that Iran expects the Iranian detainees to be released soon so as to remove the worry of their families.
He added that the issue has been earlier discussed by the foreign ministers of the two countries and has been majorly solved.
