In a statement, Kata’ib Hezbollah declared its intention to resume attacks against US forces in Iraq, citing dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in negotiations for the withdrawal of US troops, Al-Manar reported on Monday.
It expressed disappointment with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani’s failure to secure a timetable for the withdrawal of US forces during his recent visit to Washington.
The group asserted that despite diplomatic efforts, it had become evident that foreign forces had no intention of leaving Iraq, prompting the decision to resume military operations against US forces.
