Pakistan's political parties hail Iran's stance on Palestinian cause

Islamabad, IRNA – Pakistani politicians and party leaders have called for the expansion of mutual ties, lauding Iran's position on the cause pursued by the oppressed Palestinian nation.

In a message welcoming the visit of Ebrahim Raisi to Pakistan, the president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Party Fazal-ur-Rehman expressed hope that the visit would be a step forward to expand the interactions between the two neighboring countries.

A member of the Senate and chairman of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Party Nasser Abbas Jafari warmly welcomed President Raisi as the proud figure of the Islamic world who has taken a powerful stance against global arrogance and the Zionist regime

The head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan Party Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair stated that the Pakistani nation is proud to host a figure whose country is at the forefront of supporting the oppressed Palestinians and countering the conspiracies of Israeli regime and its criminal supporters.

Principal of Jamia Urwa tul Wusqa in Lahore Jawad Naqvi said in a message that all Pakistanis including Shiites and Sunnis are looking forward to meet Raisi with open arms.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad on Monday morning at the start of an official two-day visit to the southeastern neighbor of the Islamic Republic.
