Abdel Bari Atwan, a Palestinian-born British journalist and the editor-in-chief of Rai al-Youm, wrote that the recent measures taken by the regime, including its attack on Iran’s consulate in Syria as well as its strike at the Kalso military base in Babylon province of Iraq, prove that the regime cannot get rid of the troubles it has created.
According to the analyst, the Israeli regime will face severe response in retaliation for its recent attack on the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) and its fighters may be dispatched to the borders of occupied Palestine to conduct attacks deep into the usurped territories.
The attack on the PMU base in Iraq will promote its fighters to defuse the United States’ plots in Iraq and dismantle its military bases in the Arab country, the pundit noted.
He also noted that Iran’s retaliatory attack on the Israeli regime is considered a strategic turning point, which was not anticipated by the Tel Aviv regime.
The chief editor added that the US will not succeed in saving the Israeli regime using military, political, and financial support and that Americans failed in Afghanistan, and are on the verge of failure in Ukraine and the West Asia region.
