Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said on Saturday that the House of Saud removes Quranic verses from textbooks to avoid angering the Zionists. He explained that, in particular, verses that speak about crimes committed by Jews are being censored.
The Yemeni official added that the Saudi regime has even removed Prophetic traditions, either entirely or partially, from educational programs, describing it as a great injustice to future generations.
The move is likely in line with Saudi Arabia's plan to normalize its relations with the Israeli regime, he pointed out.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is also following suit, speaking favorably of the Zionists in textbooks in a bid to raise a generation that is friendly towards Israel, al-Houthi said.
