The election has pit the National Democratic Alliance led by two-time Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A), spearheaded by the main opposition party, Indian National Congress.
