Hossein Amirabdollahian held a phone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Malt Ian Borg whose country presides over the United Nations Security Council for April.
Commenting on Iran’s reaction to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime, the official termed Iran’s response as a legitimate defense which was as per the international law.
Amirabdollahian hailed Malta’s endeavor in a bid to help put an end to the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Borg touched on the repercussions of the tension spillover in the region, calling on all sides to exercise restraint.
Malta calls for the necessity of an immediate truce in Gaza, the release of the prisoners, and the facilitation of delivering humanitarian aid.
