According the Palestinian Sama news agency, the Israeli army announced that a wargame involving vessels, fighter jets and troops will be held on Monday in the northern Gaza Strip and the Galilee region located in the northern occupied territories.
This exercise will be conducted as part of the preparation of the Israeli army for the battle in different sectors, an army statement said.
The wargame comes in the backdrop of the Zionist army’s failure on the ground in Gaza amid stiff resistance by Palestinian fighters there.
The Israeli army claims successes in the war on Gaza but has many failures to reckon with despite being financed and armed by western backers, especially the United States.
The regime’s officials and media have already acknowledged Israel’s failure in achieving any of its goals in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his far-right cabinet have also been facing condemnations, including from Israelis, for their failure get captives freed from Gaza.
