Amirabdollahian made the remarks in a joint press conference with his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr Albusaidi in Muscat on Sunday.
The Iranian foreign minister hailed the volume of trade between Iran and Oman, especially that conducted by the private sectors of the two countries, noting that bilateral trade has increased by 2.5-fold.
He also highlighted the significance of the International North-South Transit Corridor (INSTC) and stressed that both Tehran and Muscat are determined to execute an agreement between Iran, Oman, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, which he believed would benefit the interests of all the regional countries.
Further in his remarks, Amirabdollahian said that problems faced by the region require collective solutions. He also appreciated efforts by the Omani Sultan to bolster regional and international cooperation.
The top Iranian diplomat also touched upon the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, saying both Tehran and Muscat are of the belief that the war must stop and the dispatch of humanitarian supplies to the war-stricken people has to be facilitated immediately.
The foreign minister added that Iran has sent a message to the White House through its interest section in the Swiss embassy that the US cannot shirk its responsibility for supporting the crimes of the Zionist regime.
The Omani foreign minister also said that the two countries seriously follow up the implementation of their bilateral agreements.
He stressed that the two countries will make efforts to find solutions to regional tensions, including the Zionist war against the Gazan people.
There is no other way than the formation of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem al-Quds as its capital, he said.
