According to IRNA, the Islamic Resistance in a statement said that it hit the Ramat David air base, located in the southeast of the occupied port city of Haifa, with a drone.
There were no immediate reports of casualties and damage from the attack which the resistance group said was in response to the Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with the Palestinians.
This group has repeatedly warned that it would keep targeting Zionist positions as long as the regime continues its genocidal onslaught on Gaza. It has also vowed to intensify its operations against the positions of this regime.
Meanwhile, news sources on Thursday morning also reported a missile attack on Zionist positions in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
IRNA cited some reports as saying that a missile was launched from mainland Syria toward the occupied Golan.
Some local sources, however, said that at least three rockets were fired toward the Kisht region in the south of the occupied Syrian territory.
Since the start of the Israeli regime's genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, the resistance movements in various countries, including Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen, have taken measures against the Israeli regime in support of the people of Gaza.
