In a statement on the occasion of the Islamic Republic Day on Sunday, the Foreign Ministry said it will develop balanced relations with various world countries with regard to the Supreme Leader’s goals and the government’s foreign policy to safeguard national interests.
The ministry also marked the courage of the great Iranian nation in the Islamic Revolution period.
Farvardin 12 -- the twelfth day of the first month of the Iranian calendar year – is when people in Iran said “yes” to the Islamic Republic less than two months after the 1979 Islamic Revolution under the leadership of the late Ayatollah Khomeini.
