Kanaani said on Monday that the move is a theft and a blatant violation of the inalienable and natural rights of the Palestinian nation that goes against peace and security and international regulations.
He considered the occupation of another part of the Palestinian territories to be in line with the barbaric and criminal actions of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, which are all part of its expansionist policies in the historical Palestinian lands.
Kanaani said that this illegal measure, which is the biggest seizure of Palestinian lands since 1993, is a war crime and a violation of international laws and regulations.
He called on the international community, especially the United Nations, to take "decisive, effective and deterrent" action to put an end to the aggression and expansionist policies of the Zionist regime.
