Husam Badran said on Monday that Hamas' priority is an end to the war, delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and the return of refugees, according to Palestinian Shahab news agency.
He stressed that the resistance movement's proposal is focused primarily on reconstruction of Gaza and is not limited to the release of captives as advertised by the occupiers.
Badran reiterated that Hamas will keep resisting against the occupiers in line with its legitimate right to defense.
He highlighted that Hamas is negotiating on behalf of the Palestinian people and is not dealing with the issues concerning its own leaders.
He, however, added that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not seek an agreement and is deceiving the families of Zionist captives to cover up his political and security defeat.
