Speaking at the first meeting of his administration's economic team on Sunday, Raisi said all production sectors including oil, agriculture, energy, industry and mining should pay close attention to the slogan of the the Iranian year 1403, which began on March 20, 2024, by helping deliver a "surge in production."
The President termed the full support for the production of basic goods and creating stability in this sector as a principled policy of the government.
He stressed the need to pay serious attention to increasing productivity in various domestic sectors.
It is necessary to control the factors interfering with economic indicators, Raisi underlined.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian President elaborated on the requirements and prerequisites to help plan the realization of the New Year's slogan on surge in production.
The Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has named the Iranian year 1403 as “Surge in Production through People’s Participation.”
