According to Beirut-based Al Mayadeen news network, the latest US-led airstrike hit Al Mina district in the western province of al-Hudaydah on Wednesday night. No further details were provided.
Washington and London launched airstrikes on Yemen on January 11 in response to what they called threats to international shipping in the wake of Yemen’s military operations in the Red and Arabian seas.
Yemen has time and again said that its operations, which began on November 19, only target Israel-linked ships, rejecting claims by the US and the UK that the operations pose a threat to other vessels.
Yemen also says, despite the ongoing US-UK airstrikes, it will continue its anti-Israel operations until the regime stops its genocide in Gaza, lifts its blockade of the territory and allows humanitarian aid to enter the Palestinian territory.
