Israel trying to disrupt Doha talks on ceasefire: Hamas chief

Tehran, IRNA- Head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, Ismail Haniyeh has said the Zionist regime is trying to disrupt the Doha negotiations on ceasefire with its continued crimes in the Gaza Strip.

Haniyeh on Tuesday night pointed to the actions of the Zionist military at the Al-Shifa medical complex in Central Gaza and said these prove Israel is against peace and return of life to Gaza Strip.

According to the Gaza media office, the Zionist regime committed a bloody crime by executing 50 Palestinians and arresting nearly 200 others at the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City on Sunday.

We also received field information about the execution of a number of children, civilians, patients and refugees by the Zionist army, it said.

This was the second time that Israeli forces stormed Al-Shifa Hospital since the beginning of the war under different pretexts. They stormed it for the first time on November 16, after besieging it for at least a week.

Hamas described the attack on the hospital as a clear war crime and a flagrant violation of international law, saying the attack was an attempt to cover up the failure of this regime in achieving its military goals.

The Palestinian resistance movement has called on the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations to act immediately to stop the Israeli crimes.
