During the meeting on Sunday, Tiztek exchanged views with Amirabdollahian while presenting a report on his mission and discussed plans to enhance and promote bilateral cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Niger.
Iran’s top diplomat, for his part, emphasized the need to development all-out relations with the Republic of Niger, especially in political and economic fields.
While referring to the serious will of the government of President Ebrahim Raisi to boost bilateral relations and cooperation with the African continent, Amirabdollahian stressed the need to follow up on agreements and programs in this regard, including the holding of joint economic commissions between Iran and Niger.
Before taking the assignment as an envoy for Niger, Tiztek served the Islamic Republic in different positions in the past.
He worked as the head of the Caspian Sea Secretariat, the deputy of the Iranian Embassy in Turkmenistan and the deputy of the First Department of the Commonwealth and the Caucasus as well as served Iran’s missions in Moscow and Kiev.
