Voting for the Russian presidential election is currently taking place at the Russian Embassy's conference hall in Tehran on the third day of the vote, IRNA reported, citing the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Over a hundred Russian citizens have already cast their votes in Tehran.
In addition to the Russian embassy in Tehran, Russian citizens in Iran can cast their votes at their county's consulates in Isfahan and Rasht, along with two designated polling stations in the cities of Bushehr and Dasht-e Abbas.
Preliminary results show that voter turnout in the Russian elections has surpassed the 2018 levels of 67.5 percent.
