Veisi is a 53-year-old coach who recently replaced the Spanish coach Juan Ignacio Martínez at Foolad FC after he parted ways with the team in February.
Veisi began his coaching career as an assistant coach for Foolad in 2007 and later became the head coach for the team during the 2021/22 season. Throughout his career, he has also coached Sepahan FC, Esteghlal Khuzestan FC, Paykan FC, Sanat Naft Aabadan FC, Naft Masjed Soleiman FC, Saba FC, Shahib Buhsher FC, and Kheibar Khoramabad FC. Veisi has won the title of the Iranian Persian Gulf Professional League (PGPL) with Esteghlal Khuzestan FC.
Currently, Foolad is ranked 13th in the table, with 19 points and a four-point lead over the relegation zone.
