According to the Hamas-run Al-Aqsa TV, the commander of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades was martyred in the vicinity of the al-Hawsh intersection on the Tyre to Al-Naqoura road in the south of Lebanon following a drone attack by the Israeli regime on Wednesday morning.
The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, and its military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, offered condolences on the martyrdom of the commander.
Earlier, a correspondent with Al Mayadeen TV network reported that an Israeli drone fired a rocket at a vehicle near the entrance of the Rashidieh camp in southern Tyre city.
The Israeli regime actively pursues the assassination of commanders and senior members of the resistance movements in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
