Bahador Karami, the chancellor of Yasouj University in southwestern Iran, made this announcement on Tuesday. He also mentioned that individuals selected by the European Physical Society (EPS) will receive a certificate of merit and a three-year free membership in the Society.
Dr. Soroushfar holds the position of director of technology affairs and communication with society and industry, as well as director of the Observatory at Yasouj University. His educational background includes a PhD in Theoretical Physics (Gravitation), an MSc in Astronomical Physics, and a BSc in Solid State Physics.
According to the EPL website, these awards are granted to “a select group of reviewers who have provided exceptionally useful and constructive assessments of articles submitted for publication in the EPL journal.”
