Hezbollah will not leave Palestinian resistance alone: Sheikh Qasem

Tehran, IRNA - The Deputy Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah stated that even if the scope of the aggression of the Zionist regime widens, the Lebanese resistance is very well prepared, and emphasized that Hezbollah will not leave the Palestinian resistance alone until the end of Israel's aggression in Gaza.

Sheikh Naeem Qasem said that Lebanon's resistance will continue to defend itself, respond to the Israeli regime, and help the Palestinian resistance, and the intimidation of the enemies will not have any effect on it.

The Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah, in response to the statements of the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Zionist regime regarding the preparation of this regime for a ground attack on Lebanon, said: Hezbollah will not react to the statements of the Zionist authorities unless it is made with the intention of intimidating the other side or made seriously.

"We will give an appropriate and strong response to any aggression. We should let the field commanders decide on the definitive and final options," he added.

In relevant remarks earlier on Monday, a member of the Lebanese Hezbollah Central Council has emphasized that the resistance has imposed deterrence on the Zionist regime and the Israeli regime cannot even think of invading Lebanon.

Sheikh Hassan al-Baghdadi said that if the decisive response of the resistance to the American and Zionist enemy had not taken place, the victory and the balance of deterrence would not have been imposed on them, the Iraq-based Alahad TV reported.

Referring to the Zionist regime's aggressive attacks on areas in southern Lebanon, he underlined that the Islamic Resistance responds to the aggressions appropriately and on par with the volume of the aggressions.

He underscored that the resistance response to the Americans and their proxies has led them to conclude that they cannot deter Hezbollah from taking military action.

He went on to say that the resistance's appropriate response made the Zionist regime fear. "As of today, we can see that they are not even considering an attack on Lebanon. However, if they do decide to make such a move, the resistance's retaliation would be shocking for the regime."

With the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian resistance groups on October 7, Lebanon's Hezbollah, in support of the Palestinian people and reducing the pressure on the resistance in Gaza, has carried out daily and heavy operations against the Zionist targets inside the Palestinian territory.
