Iran vice president laments over human crisis in Gaza in Ramadan felicitation messages

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Mokhber has expressed deep sorrow over the humanitarian conditions in Gaza Strip while the Muslims are preparing for the holy month of Ramadan.

In separate felicitation messages to his Muslim counterparts on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan, Mokhber said, “unfortunately we are celebrating this divine feast at a time that the holy land of Palestine, as a part of the body of the Islamic world, has been subjected to the severest air and ground attacks by the usurping and child-killing Zionist regime, and is going through dangerous and sensitive conditions.”

He noted that this huge massacre and genocide is taking place while the international organizations active in the area of maintenance of global peace and security, under the pressure of Western powers, especially the United States, have failed to stop the war and the inhumane siege in Gaza.

The Vice president underlined the human and religious duty of all Muslim states to join efforts to provide support for the cause of Palestine.
