According to Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen Satellite television channel, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq declared in a statement on Friday night that its fighters had targeted the Haifa Oil Refinery in occupied territories of Palestine using drones.
No further details have been provided so far.
In another attack, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq also pounded a military base in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights of Syria on Thursday night.
The report said that fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the First Golani Brigade, an Israeli military infantry brigade, with drones.
The resistance group has been attacking US and Israeli positions with drones and missiles in response to the Israeli regime’s crimes in Gaza and the United States’ all-out support for the regime.
The Israeli war on Gaza, which began on October 7, has so far killed more than 30,800 Palestinians and left over 72,400 others injured in the besieged coastal territory.
